VCL-MX, 2Mbps E1 Drop Insert (Add Drop) Multiplexer

Valiant's offers its latest 160Mbps, 80 E1 fully non-blocking cross-connect at 64Kbps (DS-0) level (2480 DS-0 – any to any time-slot cross-connect), multi-service platform that may be used to provide a wide variety of voice and data services from single chassis. This product supports 1+1 E1 Link Protection / E1 Port Redundancy (8 E1's per card), 1+1 Control Card Processor Redundancy, 1+1 Cross-Connect / TSI Redundancy, 1+1 Timing (Synchronization Clock) Redundancy. User selectable synchronization priority, 1+1 48V DC Power Supply Redundancy (Dual Power Input – allows the equipment to be powered from two separate sources, up to 144 FXO or 144 FXS voice channels per unit, up to 72 E&M 2-wire / 4-wire voice channels per unit and any “mix” of data and voice channels in a single unit.

The VCL-MX Version 6 DXC 80 T1, 120Mbps Digital Access Cross Connect Switch, is a modular switch that may be scaled from 8 T1 Ports to up to 80 T1 Ports. The VCL-MX Version 6, T1 DACS (T1 DXC) offers full cross-connect functionality to cross-connect between 64Kbps time-slots (DS-0s), “n"x64 Kbps consecutive DS-0s and Fractional T1 channels to full T1 channels.

Analog I/O Card: Accepts / Extends 4 analog (dry relay contact) I/O per 64Kbps time-slot, a total of 8 analog (dry relay contact) I/Os per Interface Card, Each chassis shall accept a maximum of 3 such analog or digital I/O interface cards. (Available with VCL-MX, Version 5)

Digital I/O Card: Accepts / Extends 4 digital (logic high / logic low) I/O per 64Kbps time-slot, a total of 8 digital (logic high / logic low) I/Os per Interface Card, Each chassis shall accept a maximum of 3 such analog or digital I/O interface cards. (Available with VCL-MX, Version 5)

Universal Data Interface Card: V.35 / V.36 / RS422 / V.11 / RS530 / X.21, DTE/DCE, "N" x 64Kbps Synchronous Data Interface, ONE Interface per Card - User Selectable Data Rate of "N" (1 thru 30) - DCE or DTE (User Configurable). (Available with VCL-MX, Version 3 and 5)

The VCL-MX E1 Interface operates at a primary rate of 2.048 MBits/Sec and provides a host of features including, channel drop and insert facility over a network of VCL-MX, E1 Multiplexers, for voice and data applications.

The VCL-MX has an effective, CLI (text) based "Network Management System", which may be used for configuring the system, subsequent remote monitoring and management of the inter-connected systems in the network. Both Inband and Out-Of-Band configuration and monitoring options are available. An extensive set of alarms, for easy maintenance are provided in the system.

VCL-MX Version # 5 - 12 E1 Multiplexer is a carrier class and cost-effective bandwidth provisioning equipment designed to manage and deliver services from the optical core to the access.

VCL-MX Version 5 – 12 E1 Multiplexer may be used for inter-connecting legacy voice and data networks, provisioning and managing bandwidth on a E1 channelized level as well as 64Kbps, DS-0 time-slot level and as a digital-access cross-connect equipment. This 12 x E1 Multiplexer can be used in a Point-to-Point, Point-to-Multi point, Add-Drop (drop-insert), Tree and Star topology applications. Offers and supports telnet, SNMP V2, GUI, In-band and Out-of-band management options.
